The 4-methoxytrityl chloride resin, which is slightly more acid-labile than Methyltrityl Resin, is used for the solid phase immobilization of carboxylic acids, alcohols, thiols and amines [1-4]. Cleavage is generally achieved using 1-5% TFA in DCM containing 5% TIS.
